Well it's been seven years, so I'm assuming it's time for an update :) Life is good. We have kept on living our busy and amazing lives. All is well and moving forward. Welcome back to our lives where we will bring you many more goodies to come including festival, foodies, stuff we love, and best of all, family updates. Enjoy!!! Clea
Yes, we are finally "home." What a rocky road we had to go through before we came to this point but, it was well worth it. We are finally settled and it feels great. We absolutely love this place. The first couple of weeks here and we have already scoped out the area. The kids are comfortable in there new house and school and it actually feels like home. We have already had visitors and more are still to come. It seems like we have company on a monthly basis and we love it. It makes us less homesick. We welcome everyone. Hope to see you all soon.
Hana and Kimmie climbing a three story rock wall. They did great and both made it to the top. Our little Miss Priss surprised us because she's a pretty tough cookie. Just like mom.
Alaia made herself right at home. She fussed her way around as usual. Here, she just wasn't feeling this particular horse. Clea had to scope out the house and its belongings. We were amazed to see how she knew to turn on the computer, hop up on a chair, and work the mouse. At 14 months, she's got skill.
Who would have known that a week after our departure we would see our part of our family once again. That's right, we went to see our favorite french family and met the others there. It was a wonderful visit. We had so much fun and of coarse hated to say goodbye once again.
Clea was so loved by apple. He would not leave her alone. It was almost as if she had her own tail.
Mommy, can you see it now? Happy New Year from THE FAMILY. Ba, Clea, and Ba Oanh Frenchie, Ivy, and me. Sisterly Love Peek-a-Boo
The worst thing in the world to do is to say goodbye to your loved ones. I have been so sheltered by my parents all my life which made this task almost impossible. We cried on a daily basis and as time grew closer for us to depart, the tears became more frequent. However, we did survive. And, life here is an improvement. We are still trying to get our families to move here with us. Only time will tell.
Christmas this year was a bitter sweet one. We were able to spend it with all of our family members and at the same time we knew we had to say goodbye the following day. We enjoyed every one's company and at the same time cried constantly due to our departure. We love all of you.
